Nick Lettire's Bio
Nick Lettire is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lettire Construction Corporation, which he co-founded with his brother Gerard Lettire in 1979. Nicholas Lettire is also co-founder and President of Urban Builder’s Collaborative, the company’s development arm.
Nick Lettire spearheads new construction and development opportunities and partnerships for both companies. Recent projects under his leadership include residential and mixed-use developments with construction budgets ranging from $10M to $90M.
Mr. Lettire got his start in the construction industry working on interiors and rehab projects. The company specialized in elegant high-end interior restaurant, office and home renovations, often for celebrity clients. The company then expanded its practice to include complex ground-up sustainable affordable and special needs housing, and mixed-use properties throughout the New York Tri-State area.

Bernard (Bernie) Ruf's Bio
As Director of Operations, Mr. Ruf’s responsibilities include new business development, project management and general operations for the company.
Prior to joining Lettire, Mr. Ruf established his own business, Hudson River Construction Management LLC, and provided construction management services and pre-construction services on several projects in New York including the conversion of the Metro Hotel on 41st Street in NYC.
Before starting Hudson River Construction Management, Mr. Ruf worked as the Director of Construction for New-Concord Development, a residential arm of Cappelli Enterprises, where he worked on the Trump Park Residences project in Yorktown, NY and the $1.5 Billion Dollar Concord Hotel Project in Kiamesha Lake, NY. Mr. Ruf has also served as Vice President of Construction for Leyland Alliance, directing construction teams on projects in North Augusta South Carolina, Norfolk, Virginia, Storrs, Connecticut, and Warwick New York. He also served eight years with Skanska beginning as a Superintendent and working to the Sr. Project Manager position. During his time with Skanska, Mr. Ruf completed projects that totaled over $400M. Prior to that, he spent over thirteen years in residential construction working at a variety of job positions, including Superintendent with U.S. Steel, Plaza Construction, and in self-employment.
Gerard Lettire's Bio
Gerard Lettire is Chief Officer of Operations and Vice President of Lettire Construction Corporation, which he co-founded with his brother Nicholas Lettire in 1979. Both brothers are also co-founders of Urban Builder’s Collaborative, the company’s development arm.
Gerard Lettire oversees all on-site construction operations for the company, and takes a hands-on approach to all projects. His responsibilities include supervision of project managers and superintendents, coordination and management of subcontractors, refining the scope of work for each project, and recommendations for value engineering.
Rita Bonomini's Bio
Rita’s responsibilities as Project Manager include supervision of all projects in progress and seeing them through to completion, including close coordination with site managers. She works regularly with city agencies and other parties involved, including obtaining Department of Buildings Certificate of Occupancy and other requisite filings.
Rita has over 14 years experience in the construction industry, and specifically in the affordable housing sector. She has been involved in various rehabilitation and new construction of low to mid-rise developments, as well as two-family housing clusters.
Rita holds a Masters in Architecture from City College and a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from Parsons. She is also trained in Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and is OSHA certified.

Matthew Gross's Bio
In his role as Director of Real Estate Development at Urban Builders Collaborative, the real estate development arm of Lettire Construction Corp., Matt is responsible for site identification and acquisitions, overseeing due diligence, and composing financial structures with investors and various public agencies involved in affordable and supportive housing development. He will also be involved in overall building planning, design, branding and marketing of projects, and general oversight of all Lettire developments.
As a Vice President at Citibank Community Capital, Matt was responsible for underwriting, structuring and closing $400M of debt to finance the new construction and rehabilitation of 1,500 units of affordable multifamily housing. Prior to that, he served at The Richman Group, one of the top ten largest apartment owners in the country, where he syndicated over $500M of LIHTC equity and provided financing to construct over 4,500 units throughout the five boroughs and metro New York area. In addition to working with LIHTC equity and construction debt, Matt also financed a number of projects throughout his career involving Historic, Brownfield and New Markets Tax Credits, as well as various HUD programs.
Matt serves on the Young Leaders Committee of the New York State Association For Affordable Housing (NYSAFAH) and is active with the Supportive Housing Network of New York (SHNNY). He holds a B.S. in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
